Notice of Informational Public Meeting
Gauley River Public Service District
The Gauley River Public Service District (PSD) will hold an informational public meeting regarding its Route 39 Water System Improvements Project in accordance with WV Drinking Water Treatment Revolving Fund requirements. The meeting will be held at the Gauley River PSD office at 29 S Swiss Road, Swiss West Virginia 26690 at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
The proposed project includes waterline replacement in one of the oldest portions of the system and areas which may be in need of replacement due to the relative age, portions of under-classed and undersized pipe, and improper installation. The project will also allow flow from the City of Summersville source to the Mount Olive Correctional Complex. The proposed project is located in Fayette County, WV. Construction associated with the project will take place along Route 39 near the community of Swiss.
