If you are paying within 24 hours of or after your termination date you must call our office during normal business hours to process your payment. If your water service has been TERMINATED do not pay online. You must come to the office to pay.
Gauley River Public Service District offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your need.
Online Bill Payment
If you are paying your bill Online just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button. Have your account number handy and follow the prompts.
Just keep in mind that all credit card payments whether made by telephone or on line will not be posted until the following day. This is due to being handled through a third party vendor that uploads to our system each morning all transactions from the previous day.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment in Person
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, money orders as well as credit/debit cards. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Pay After Hours
We also have a drop box located to the left of the staff entrance door at our office. If you wish to make a payment after hours or on weekends you can slide your payment of cash, check or money order through the slot. Please be sure to check that your payment is pushed all the way in so that it drops through. Note: Please include your bill stub and we recommend that you use an envelope instead of dropping your cash or check through the slot with out an envelope to keep it all together.
Telephone Payments
Payments can be made 24 hours a day via telephone after 10/1/18 by calling 1-833-230-2595. Effective 01 November 2018 telephone payments will no longer be accepted at the office of Gauley River PSD.
